Open the fresh-food doors and look for a factory sticker on an inside wall or door frame. The exact location varies by model.

COMMON STICKER LOCATIONS

Look inside first.

These are typical locations. Your model’s label may be elsewhere.

On an interior side wall, near the top or behind a drawer.

Inside the fresh-food compartment near the upper left wall.

Inside the fresh-food compartment, on the factory rating label.

READ THE LABEL

Look for “Model,” “Model No.,” or “MOD.” Copy letters, numbers and the suffix exactly as printed. Example: RF28R7351SR.

“Serial,” “S/N,” or “SER” identifies your individual appliance. It is usually not the number needed to match a water filter.
